Swift Elite 3.0 can play many different music formats (see the detailed software description). For most DJ's you will use the inbuilt conversion tools to transfer all your CD, music dvd and Karaoke CDG music tracks to the hard drive. CD music will be stored as mp3 files, music clips as mpg files and karaoke as mp3+g files.
Karaoke tracks (and soon music video) can also be purchased and downloaded online.
Once all your music is stored on the hard drive you can load the dual play decks A & B with whatever tracks you want. For example load deck A with a CD music or video clip and deck B with a karaoke track. In addition to playing the hard drive tracks, you can also play music and karaoke CDG discs directly from the in built DVD ROM. There is also a Preview deck which you can preview tracks, while deck A or B are playing, prior to loading them into the play list. This means you actually have 3 play decks that can have 3 different tracks loaded and playing AT THE SAME TIME! The only restriction is that you don't try and play 2 tracks at the same time from the same disc in the DVD ROM!
The DJ monitor is for control and cueing while the other video output is for the external Audience/singer monitor. The Audience/singer monitor only shows the full screen music video clip, karaoke words, visualisations and advertising.
